Amazing as this remained the Village Post Office for so many years, through war and I seem to remember it still being there in 1980s

i have lived here for 35 years now and the shop has always been let,in fact i have just finished painting the outside.if anyone has any information on the house or shop i would love to know. thanks gerry

On right with blind out was the butchers shop, note immediately on left the notice board for Congregational Church

My grandfather Arthur Robinson (bc.1880 Aston Clinton Bucks) was the local Walton butcher around 1910-1930 (in partnership with Arthur Heath). The family was Arthur & Edith, chidren Arthur Geoffrey & Eileen (bc.1908). Arthur was divorced c.1922 and he re-married having 2 more children. I have never seen my grandfather, nor the 2 children and would love to meet them or their offspring. I am curious as to whether John Robinson is related. Can he be contacted?

This is travelling towards the pond and Sandlands Road I believe, later on in 30s/40s, there would be shops including Chemist near by
